Dogs and Queens Of Noize to raise awareness for the climate change campaign…
THE BIG ASK campaign is to take to the stage in CAMBRIDGE next month with an exclusive gig (August 16).
Taking place at the city’s Junction venue, Dogs and Rotating Leslie have already been confirmed to play at the event, which will also feature a DJ set from the Queens Of Noize.
More acts are to be announced shortly.
The show aims to raise awareness for The Big Ask campaign, which was launched recently by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke on behalf of Friends Of The Earth.
The campaign’s intention is to put pressure on MP’s to pass the Climate Change Bill through Parliament as soon as possible.
Tickets are priced at £5, and any profit made will go to Friends Of The Earth.
