The country star is 'mending very nicely' from breast-induced pain
Dolly Parton has announced the rescheduled dates of her US tour, which she postponed earlier this week.
The country star put her jaunt on hold due to back pain caused by her large breasts, as previously reported.
Parton said in a statement today (February 14) that she is well on the road to recovery.
“Hey, thanks for being patient,” she said. “I’m mending very nicely and will be fit as a fiddle soon. And I’ll not only have the fiddle, but the rest of the band as well. We can’t wait to hit the road for our ‘Backwoods Barbie’ tour… Look forward to seeing you soon.”
The tour, which was originally scheduled to begin on February 28 in Minneapolis, will now kick off on April 22 in Pittsburgh and conclude in Dallas on May 11.
The newly scheduled tour dates are:
Pittsburgh, PA Benedum Center (April 22)
Hershey, PA Hershey Center (23)
