Toronto rapper attended wedding of hairdresser Jason Macaraig over the weekend
Drake reportedly previewed a new song during a live performance at his barber’s wedding.
Fresh from headlining London’s Wireless Festival, the Toronto rapper attended the wedding of hairdresser Jason Macaraig over the weekend.
During the reception, Drake performed what appears to be a new song. Some commentators are suggesting it’s a forthcoming remix of D.R.A.M’s ‘Cha Cha’.

Drake recently spoofed a number of high profile names, including Kanye West and Miley Cyrus, in the video for his mixtape track ‘Energy’.
The video for ‘Energy’ sees the Canadian rapper morph into something looking like Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ video as well as West’s infamous ‘Bound 2’ video and Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein adverts.
Elsewhere in the promo he poses as both Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey, the latter spoofing her 2005 interview with Tom Cruise when he declared his love for Katie Holmes.
During his Wireless headline performance earlier this month (July 3), Drake brought out London grime MC Skepta to perform ‘Shutdown’ during a hit-laden set.
Drake wore a Boy Better Know T-shirt throughout the gig and brought out the crew’s biggest name member to perform ‘Shutdown’. “Man’s never been in Finsbury when it’s shutdown,” said Drake as the song began, aping the beginning of the recorded version.
After the song ended, both Skepta and Drake paid tribute to Lukey Maxwell. Maxwell was stabbed and killed in June in an incident in London’s Northumberland Park.
