Meanwhile, Drake could face a multi-million dollar lawsuit after distancing himself from a new documentary charting his rise to fame.

As reported yesterday, producers of Drake’s Homecoming are threatened a $15 million (£10m) lawsuit. Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage is built around a 2009 Drake concert at Toronto’s Sound Academy. Featuring a then 22 year-old Drake, the documentary boasts footage “previously believed lost and destroyed”. Watch the documentary trailer below.

Producers of the film claim Drake has known about plans to bring the film to screens since November 2014 and also approved an early trailer.

Drake recently surprise-released his fourth album ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’. Made up of 17 tracks, the album features Lil Wayne, Travi$ Scott, and PartyNextDoor.

Drake has also been announced as one of the one of the headliners at London’s Wireless festival this year. He joins Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, David Guetta and Avicii on the bill.
