Watch Drake sing about being ‘more than a meme’ on ‘SNL’

Rapper also performed 'One Dance' and 'Hype' on the US TV show

Drake hosted this week’s episode of US TV’s Saturday Night Live last night (May 14), also performing live on the show.

The Toronto rapper – who released his fourth album ‘Views’ last month (April 29) – performed his tracks ‘One Dance’ and ‘Hype’, as well as appearing in a number of comedy sketches.

Drake’s opening monologue saw him sing a song about being “more than a meme”. Watch that and other highlights below.

Meanwhile, Skepta recently confirmed that Drake has signed a deal with his Boy Better Know label, something the Canadian rapper first hinted at earlier this year. Speaking about it, the grime MC said: “We’re putting together an official worldwide BBK label.”

Drake has also scored a coveted chart double, taking number one on both the UK singles and albums charts with ‘One Dance’ and ‘Views’ respectively.

The Toronto star also replaced 50 Cent in US business magazine Forbes’ list of the richest rappers in the world, with his climb being attributed to money from music, touring, plus deals with Nike, Sprite and Apple.
