Drake and Courtney Barnett confirmed as the last two musical guests for this season of ‘SNL’

Barnett will make her debut on the US comedy show

Drake and Courtney Barnett have been confirmed as the last two musical guests for the 41st season of Saturday Night Live.

The Toronto rapper will host and perform tracks from his latest album ‘Views From The 6’ on the show on May 14. It will be his first appearance on the programme since 2014, during which he recreated his Bar Mitzvah and did impressions of Lil Wayne.

As Consequence Of Sound reports, Barnett will make her debut on SNL on May 21, which is also the season finale. Comedian and actor Fred Armisen will host that week.

The show recently held a special tribute episode after the passing of musician Prince.

Titled ‘Goodnight Sweet Prince’, the programme aired clips of the late singer’s previous appearances on SNL, including one from 1981, another from 2006 and Prince’s last performance on the show in 2014 when comedy actor Chris Rock was hosting.
