Rapper teamed up with Rihanna live in Toronto on Thursday (April 14)
Drake has performed his new single ‘One Dance’ live for the first time.
The rapper released the song, along with Kanye West and Jay-Z collaboration ‘Pop Style’, earlier this month, ahead of his upcoming new album ‘Views From The 6’, which will be released on April 29 through Apple Music.
Drake made a cameo during Rihanna‘s Toronto gig on Thursday night (April 14), teaming up with the singer for her recent hit ‘Work’, as well as ‘One Dance’. Watch footage beneath.
It was recently confirmed that Drake’s album will be an Apple Music exclusive for one week and then made available to stream and download everywhere from May 6. This marks a stark contrast to Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ which was tied to Tidal for nearly two months after its release in February.
In 2015 Drake signed a reported £13m deal with Apple. Since then he has hosted a monthly OVO Radio show on Apple Music and debuted his ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ mixtape with Future on the platform. ‘Jumpman’ from that album was featured in a recent Apple Music advert starring Taylor Swift.
Last week (April 6), Drake teased his highly-anticipated new album by projecting an image of some artwork for the project onto a building in London.
Drake’s last official album, ‘Nothing Was The Same’, was released in 2013, but he released a pair of mixtapes in 2015: ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ and ‘What A Time To Be Alive’.
Drake has since shared a 30-second trailer for the album on Twitter – watch below.
