Drake has released a star-studded video for his new track ‘Nice For What.’
The Canadian rapper told a crowd in Toronto that he would be releasing new music earlier this week, and stuck to his word as he released ‘Nice For What’ and it’s accompanying video on Friday (April 6.)
The rapper also told the Toronto audience that he is in his home city to finish work on his next album.
Directed by Karena Evans, the video features a string of actresses and includes Olivia Wilde, Zoe Saldana, Tiffany Haddish, Michelle Rodriguez and Black Panther breakout star Letitia Wright. Emma Roberts, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross and Rashida Jones also make cameos along with singer Syd and ballet dancer Misty Copeland.
You can watch the video below.
It’s not the first time Drake has sampled Lauren Hill. His 2014 stand alone single ‘Draft Day’ featured Hill’s ‘Doo Wop (That Thing).’
Earlier this year, the rapper shared two new tracks – ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘Scary Hours.’ The former is the best-selling single of the year so far and tops Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Rag ‘N’ Bone man for sales.
Last month, Drake also remixed N.E.R.D’s Rihanna-featuring track ‘Lemon’.
