Drake scores more US top 10 singles than Paul McCartney

Scoring his 24th Top 10 single, Drake has passed the former Beatle in the chart rankings

It’s official – Drake has now had more top 10 singles in the US Hot 100 than Paul McCartney.

Scooping his 24th top ten record, with his feature spot on Migos’ ‘Walk It Talk It‘, the Toronto artist broke his fifth place tie with the former Beatle.

Boasting the fifth highest number of top 10 records in the Hot 100 for a solo male, Drake is beaten to the top title by Elvis Presley, Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson.

This isn’t the first record Drake has broken in recent years, either. After shifting shifting 755,000 sales, as well as 76million streams, his single ‘God’s Plan’ became the biggest single of 2018.

Drake also smashed records on Twitch when he live streamed himself playing the hugely popular game Fortnite, reaching a high of 635,429 viewers.

The rapper’s latest album ‘Views’ came out in 2016, and Drake teased the follow-up while supporting his home basketball team the Toronto Raptors. “I love each and every one of you,” he said at halftime. “I’m happy to be home. I’m working on this new album for the city.”
