Drake continues his domination with ‘Scorpion’ and ‘In My Feelings’ topping UK charts

Drizzy reigns supreme with an Official Charts 'double'

Drake has scored his third UK number one single of 2018 with ‘In My Feelings’.

The Canadian rapper can also celebrate the news that his latest album, ‘Scorpion’, remains at the top of the Official Album Charts.

It means he’s clinched an Official Charts double with both a single and an album at number one.

‘In My Feelings’ follows ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘Nice For What’, earning Drake a hat-trick of chart-toppers in 2018.

It’s the first time in three years that an artist has achieved such a feat within one calendar year.

The last act to do so was Justin Bieber in 2015 with ‘What Do You Mean’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘Love Yourself’.

The song’s success – 91,000 chart units, comprising over 11,000 downloads and 8.8 million streams (Official Charts data) – could be partly down to the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge dance craze.

Drake fans and his music contemporaries alike have been throwing themselves out of cars (moving ones, too – don’t do that) while ‘In My Feelings’ plays out.

The hashtag #InMyFeelingsChallenge went viral earlier in July on Instagram. Celebrities including Will Smith, Kevin Hart and Ciara have all taken part in the craze.
