Dua Lipa is getting her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds


A wax model of Dua Lipa is to be unveiled at the world famous Madame Tussauds.

The ‘New Rules’ singer announced the news via her Instagram yesterday (January 10) and joked that her “body double” will be appearing at private events.



Lipa captioned her post with: “Keep a look out, I’m getting my very own figure at @MadameTussauds this year! Excited for you all to seeee my body double that will now be taking all my bookings for private events.”

The waxwork will join a host of other famous pop stars at the attraction including One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Miley Cyrus.

Madame Tussauds shared a promotional video that shows fans waving a Dua Lipa flag. It didn’t state when the waxwork will be on show.

Earlier this month the Official Charts Company revealed the biggest selling albums of 2018. Despite being released in 2017, Lipa’s self-titled debut landed at number 9 following her double BRIT Awards win and her debut album’s Complete Edition release.


Lipa is set to release a new track, ‘Swan Song’, on January 25, which features on the film Alita.

The singer is currently working on her second record which she told GQ will feature “pop you’ll be able to dance to, but a lot of the songs are sad.”

The writing and production team is currently unknown however Lipa featured on a recent Mark Ronson and Diplo collaboration (as Silk City) for the track, ‘Electricity’.
