The comeback band will be making very special appearances on the day their new single is released...
Fans of Duran Duran can meet the band at a signing for the band’s new single ‘(REACH UP FOR THE) SUNRISE)’ next month.
The newly reformed group, who played a series of sold-out arena gigs earlier in the year, will make two appearances in the UK on the single’s release date of October 4.
The track is the first to be taken from the original line-up’s first studio album in 21 years, ‘Astronaut’. Produced by Duran Duran, Don Gilmore and Dallas Austin, the album will be released on October 11.
A spokesman for the band said: “We are expecting Duran Duran’s dedicated army of fans to turn out in force as both HMV stores have already been inundated by phone calls, based on rumours of the band’s appearance that spread like wildfire last week. The band members are keen to meet as many people as possible so will only be able to sign one item per person. We would recommend getting there early!”
The band will appear at:
HMV Birmingham, High Street (12.30 – 14.30)
HMV London Oxford Street (18.00 – 19.30)
