Eagulls have returned with brand new track, ‘Lemontrees’, which is available to stream now.
The collective, who released their self-titled debut in 2014, shared the track this morning. It comes in advance of the recently announced “intimate run of smaller towns and cities in advance of a busy 2016” and a slated new album in the works.
You can listen to ‘Lemontrees’ below.
Eagulls won Best Video at the NME Awards 2014 with Austin, Texas for the video for their single ‘Nerve Endings’, which includes footage of a rotting pig’s brain. During the band’s acceptance speech at the ceremony, they gave a special mention to Yorkshire Police.
Frontman George Mitchell told NME: “Some guy had come round to sort the gas out ‘cos we hadn’t paid the bill. He’d gone downstairs, seen there was some fucking brain rotting and called the coppers.”
Eagulls will play the following UK tour dates in March:
London Oslo (March 2)
Bristol Fiddlers (3)
Norwich Arts Centre (4)
Aldershot West End Centre (5)
Leicester Oddfellows Club (10)
Salford Islington Mill (11)
