Ed Sheeran added to London’s iTunes festival line-up

JLS, Adrea Bocelli and Olly Murs have also joined the bill for the month-long run of gigs

Ed Sheeran has been added to the line-up for London‘s iTunes Festival this year.

The series of shows will run from September 1–30 this year, moving from its previous placing of July. Every gig will be staged at London’s Roundhouse.

Sheeran will headline the venue on September 2 and is one of five new additions to the festival’s line-up.

Also joining is Olly Murs, who plays on September 3, JLS, who play on September 6, Rebecca Ferguson, who plays on September 16 and classical star Andrea Bocelli, who plays on September 18.

The five new additions join Jack White, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Norah Jones, One Direction and Usher in being confirmed for the event, with more acts set to be confirmed for the festival across the coming weeks.

In 2011, the likes of Coldplay, Manic Street Preachers, Chase and Status, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Noah And The Whale and Foo Fighters all played the month-long free event.

Tickets for each gig are all given away from the event’s official website. See for full details on how to get them.

The line-up for the iTunes Festival so far is as follows:

Usher (September 1)
Ed Sheeran (2)
Olly Murs (3)
Emeli Sande (5)
JLS (6)
Jack White (8)
Norah Jones (10)
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (12)
Rebecca Ferguson (16)
