Ed Sheeran adds third date to Wembley Stadium run

Singer-songwriter will play to 240,000 people in July

Ed Sheeran has a third date to his run of gigs at London’s Wembley Stadium in July next year.

The singer-songwriter previously announced that he will play the venue on July 10 and 11. However, due to popular demand, the singer-songwriter will now play a third show on July 12. Tickets for all three nights go on sale tomorrow (November 28) at 9am.

Ed Sheeran released his second studio album ‘X’ in June, reaching Number One in the Official UK Album Chart.

The singer recently spoke about perception of his music as being “boring”, after Isle Of Wight Festival organiser John Giddings said that if Sheeran is the future of festival headliners then we are “all screwed”.

Sheeran responded: “Everyone’s entitled to an opinion… a lot of people think I’m boring – I think other people are boring. It’s fine and that’s a normal thing to think.”

Ed Sheeran will play:

London, Wembley Stadium (July 10-12)
