Police speak to man following fight in Kent

EditorsFolkestone gig was stopped last night (March 23) and police were called to the Leas Cliff Hall venue following a fight in the crowd.

The Birmingham band were deep into their set but halted due to a fracas breaking out. A spokesperson for Kent Police told NME.COM that at 10:18pm (GMT) two fighting crowd members were escorted outside and one was questioned by an officer after venue staff phoned the police.

No-one was arrested and the gig continued following the incident.

Some fans who attended the gig criticised security staff, writing on Editorsofficial.com that some crowd members ended up on stage during the scuffle. Further fans have contacted NME.COM to criticise the security guards.

Editors are due to continue their UK tour at the O2 Academy Brixton in London tonight (24).
