The track will be released as a 12" vinyl at select Oxfam stores
Editors have unveiled a new track titled ‘Marching Orders’, which will be released as a limited-edition charity single.
Following on from recent song ‘No Harm’, the band will now sell 300 test pressing 12″ copies of ‘Marching Orders’ at randomly selected Oxfam stores in the UK, Germany and Belgium. The track will be then be released fully later this year.

Frontman Tom Smith said of the news: “We’ve been supporters of Oxfam’s amazing, vital work for many years, from supporting their Oxfam unwrapped campaign back in Xmas 2007, performing at Oxjam gigs and also hosting Oxfam campaigners on our tours to help raise funds and spread the word about the charity with our fans”.

Editors are currently working on their fifth album, recently posting a photo of themselves working with Rachel Goswell of Slowdive on Instagram. The band released their fourth album ‘The Weight of Your Love’ in June 2013. Read the NME review here.
The group will embark on a tour of the UK and Ireland in October, with the stint beginning in Belfast before travelling to Dublin, Bristol, London, Portsmouth, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle and Cambridge. The tour will conclude at Manchester Academy on October 22. See the full dates below.
