The London gig is in aid of the 'Cohesion' charity LP, and Elbow will be joined by I Am Kloot...

ELBOW are to warm up for their NME CARLING AWARDS SHOW with a low-key acoustic set at the ELBOW ROOMS in LONDON this Sunday (January 28).

The band will join fellow Mancunians I Am Kloot at the Islington Elbow Rooms for a free show to raise awareness of the ‘Cohesion’ charity LP. It is expected that Elbow will be onstage at 4.30pm.

Elbow will then join Doves, Ed Harcourt and Kings Of Convenience at the final NME Carling Awards show on February 5. That show has already sold out.

Elbow will follow the release of their current ‘Any Day Now’ EP with a new single, ‘Red’, on April 16, via V2. Their debut album, ‘Asleep In The Back’, will follow on April 30, also via V2.
