Guy Garvey and co plot their comeback
Elbow have announced details of a UK arena tour next year in support of their as-yet-untitled new album.
The band, who are currently hard at work on the follow up to 2008 album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’, play a number of dates including London‘s O2 Arena and Manchester‘s MEN Arena, next March.
Frontman Guy Garvey told NME that fans going to the gigs should expect some surprises from the band.
“There will be some theatre involved,” Garvey said. “There are a few very special guests on the record, and hopefully they’ll be coming out with us live as well.”
Read the full interview with Garvey – in which he reveals more details about Elbow‘s new album – in the new issue of NME, out nationwide from tomorrow (September 22), or available digitally worldwide from tomorrow.
