DOUBLE SIX?

The UK capital just can't get enough of this band...

ELECTRIC SIX are tipped to add an extra LONDON date to their tour of UK and Ireland in May due to huge demand.

The band, whose ‘Danger! High Voltage’ single reached Number Two in the UK charts in January, are strongly rumoured to be playing the Astoria on May 16, having already announced a show at the same venue the previous night.

The band’s label have also said that the show in Portsmouth is on May 13, not May 14 as previously stated.

The Detroit outfit are touring around the release of their debut album ‘Fire’, which is released through XL Recordings on May 19. It’s preceded by a single, ‘Gay Bar’, on May 5.

The revised UK and Ireland dates are now as follows:

Dublin Villlage (May 4)

Belfast Limelight (May 5)

Edinburgh Liquid Rooms (May 6)

Glasgow QMU (May 7)

Leeds University (May 8)

Manchester Academy (May 10)

Birmingham Academy 2 (May 11)
