Earlier this month, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra announced that they have adapted Elvis Presley’s biggest hits in Abbey Road studios for new album ‘If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’.

‘If I Can Dream…’ is a collection of Elvis classics with added orchestral backing. The tracks also feature guitarist Duane Eddy, Italian operatic vocal trio Il Volo and singer Michael Bublé on ‘Fever’.

The record includes top hits ‘Love Me Tender’, ‘In The Ghetto’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, as well as lesser known numbers and including a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’.

Elvis’ ex-wife Priscilla Presley gave ‘If I Can Dream…’ the go-ahead last year after both producer Don Reedman and Elvis’ former Las Vegas conductor approached her with the idea.

‘If I Can Dream…’, which is due for release on October 30, will be record number 72 for the late singer, who died this month 38 years ago.
