The band find a novel way of celebrating their chart-topping album 'Out Of Nothing'...
Embrace took a group of fans to MAJORCA for a secret gig this week, to celebrate their current album ‘OUT OF NOTHING’ hitting the top spot.
The competition to win a trip to a secret gig in an undisclosed location was organised through their official website. The winners were told on Tuesday (September 21) to come to the airport, wrap up warm and bring their passports. The seven winners found out their destination on arrival.
After arriving in Majorca, the winners were taken onboard a 70 foot yacht and on a trip around Palma harbour. The band performed an acoustic set while they were on board.
The band played another impromptu gig outside the El Cielo later that evening. The band played for an hour to the competition winners and Spanish fans.
The setlist included new single ‘Gravity’ and older tracks ‘All You Good Good People and ‘Come Back To What You Know’.
The group, now back in the country, are planning a series of guerrilla gigs about the UK from today. The band will play gigs from the back of a van, sending text messages out to their fanbase to alert them to the location of the gigs.
The band will also head out on pre-booked tour at the end of this month, with further dates to follow in November.
