Embrace have started playing their ‘guerrilla’ gigs again.
Around the time of their last album the band played a series of gigs in obscure venues, as either a warm-up for festival appearances or to test new material live.
Venues included 400 feet below ground in the Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe, and in a candlelit country house.
The most recent took place last night (August 15) at the Bradley Woods Scout Hut in Brighouse, Yorkshire.
The performance was intended to mark the group’s tenth anniversary, and gave the band the chance to play songs from their forthcoming album ’Out Of Nothing’, as well as their greatest hits.
‘Gravity’, the band’s Chris Martin-penned new single, is released on Independiente on August 30, followed by the album on September 13.
