In other Embrace news, a planned secret warm-up show for their appearance at last weekend’s T In The Park festival had to be cancelled following heavy rain in the area.

Following their secret Glastonbury warm-up on a beach at Burnham-On Sea, the band had planned to play an acoustic gig on the shores of Loch Leven in Fife.

Embrace posted a mobile phone number on their website messageboard which gave directions to the site, but weather conditions worsened and the gig had to be pulled.

Speaking about the cancelled show, vocalist Danny McNamara said: “We’re gutted that we had to pull the Loch Leven gig, we had a really beautiful location but the weather made it unsafe to play. Next time we play we’ll be more prepared, we’ll take our own sunshine!”
