Singer follows on from 2012's 'Our Version Of Events'

Emeli Sande has released her new single, ‘Hurts’, from her forthcoming album, ‘Long Live The Angels’.

‘Hurts’ is the first single from Sandé as a lead artist in over four years. Recorded in New York, L.A, London and Oxford, ‘Long Live The Angels’ is set for release November 11.

It follows 2012’s massive selling album, debut ‘Our Version Of Events’, which included chart-topping single, ‘Next To Me’.

“This entire album is about me not holding back and not censoring myself, and ‘Hurts’ is an explosion, it’s just…real talk,” explains Sandé.

The multi Brit Award winner has admitted to suffering from exhaustion towards the end of 2013, explaining: “Sounds a bit dramatic but I just wanted to disappear. I just had this overwhelming sensation and realisation everything had to stop, and then slowly it did.”
