Eminem and Katy Perry are continuing to dominate the UK album and singles chart, according to today’s (June 30) official midweek chart update.
The rapper’s new LP ‘Recovery’ is fighting off stiff competition from Scissor Sisters‘s new album ‘Nightwork’, which is on course to be the highest new entry.
Elsewhere in the albums chart, Muse‘s album ‘The Resistance’ and Stevie Wonder‘s ‘Definitive Collection’ are set to leap into the Top 20 with week-on-week sales increases of more than 250 percent following their Glastonbury appearances.
In the singles chart Katy Perry‘s current chart topper ‘California Gurls’ featuring Snoop Dogg is holding off Kylie Minogue‘s ‘All The Lovers’.
Check NME.COM from 7pm (BST) on Sunday to find out the final chart placings for this week.
