Kim Mathers' lawyer lays the blame for her disorderly conduct on the state of her 'horrible marriage"...

EMINEM’s estranged wife KIM MATHERS has been sentenced to 11 months probation after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct in a court in WARREN, MICHIGAN.

Judge Dawnn Gruenburg also ordered Mathers to pay a $50 fine and ordered her to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous orientation meeting.

Mathers had been arrested on June 4 while attempting to prevent police arresting husband Eminem after they were called to break up a scuffle between the star and several people in the car park of a Warren nightclub. In her defence, Mather’s lawyer Neil Rockind said she acted out of concern for her husband.

Eminem is alleged to have pulled an unloaded handgun during the June 4 incident and pistol-whipped a man he believed was kissing his wife. He faces a pre-trial on weapons and assault charges on December 8. He faces up to five years in prison if found guilty.

Yesterday (24 October) Rockind was also at pains to lay the blame for Mather’s behaviour on the state of her “horrible marriage”.

“I don’t know any other person on the planet who could endure what she did,” he said, referring to some of Eminem’s lyrics, such as those in ‘Kim’ in which he describes murdering his wife and dumping her body in a lake. The Detroit Free Press also reports the lawyer adding, “If the shadow of her marriage is ever removed, I think she’s going to bloom.”

Though still sharing a house, Eminem and Kim are in the midst of a divorce.
