The two have exchanged insults, and now it looks like they might trade blows...

Everlast has fuelled the war of words between him and Eminem by challenging the rapper to a fight.

As reported earlier this week on NME.COM (October 18), Eminem has recorded a track, ‘I Remember’ in which he attacks the former House Of Pain mainman variously as a “fuckin’ homo”, a “faggot”, a “bitch”, a “dickless piece of shit”, and, in a ranting finale, as a “fuckin’ punk pussy, fuckin’ little bitch, fuckin’ c**t”. The verbal assault came in response to lyrics on Everlast’s contribution to the Dilated Peoples song ‘Ear Drums Pop (Remix)’ where he attacked Eminem.

Now, Everlast has hit back, saying: “I’m going to handle what I’ve got to handle, and if Shorty wants to come and handle me, he can do it with his hands.”

According to [url=]www.wallofsound.com Everlast also plans to record a further retort.

He is reported as saying: “Homeboy got his feelings hurt by some shit I said. Everybody’s trying to fan the flames now. He made his song; I’ve got a little something for him on record. We’re going to see what happens. If I do something, which is more than an if, it’s not going to be commercially released. It’ll be sent out to hip-hop DJs or thrown up on Napster or something. It’s kind of like a ‘Fuck you, too,’ kind of deal.”

An earlier feud between Eminem and rappers Insane Clown Posse landed the underfire star in court.

He is due to appear in Oakland County Circuit Court outside Detroit in December charged with brandishing a gun during an argument in June with an associate of Insane Clown Posse.
