Eminem and ex-wife Kim Mathers have signed a court order agreeing to refrain from making insulting comments about each to help protect the couple’s 11-year-old daughter, Hailie.
The order was agreed at a court in Mount Clemens, Michigan today (March 27) after the rapper filed a motion at Macomb County Circuit Court to prevent his ex-wife from making further disparaging comments about him in public, as reported previously.
Kim responded to the filed documents, arguing that Eminem wasn’t completely innocent himself and citing his R.I.P. Kim, Rot in Pieces tattoo and the track ‘Kim’ from 2000’s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ as prime examples.
Eminem appeared via teleconference at the hearing, after which his lawyer, Harvey Hauer said: “We’re very happy the court was able to bring a resolution. The most important thing to Marshall is Hailie.”
Kim Mathers and Eminem agreed to share custody of their daughter after divorcing for a second time in December 2006.
