The legend hits out at rapper over Michael Jackson parody…

Stevie Wonder has blasted EMINEM’s recent attack on Michael Jackson.

The rapper ridiculed Stevie Wonder in the ‘Just Lose It’ video by poking fun at his reputed plastic surgery, an accident he suffered when his hair caught fire and his recent troubles.

However, 2Pac has hit out the star saying: “Kicking someone when he’s down is not a good thing.”

He told Billboard: “I was disappointed that he would let himself go to such a level.”

The soul legend also commented on the rapper’s music, saying: “I have much respect for his work, though I don’t think he’s as good as Michael Jackson.”

As previously reported on NME.COM, Stevie Wonder labelled the video as “inappropriate and disrespectful” when it was released.

He said: “I am very angry at Eminem’s depiction of me in his video. I’ve admired Eminem as an artist, and was shocked by this. The video was inappropriate and disrespectful to me, my children, my family, and the community at large.”

US cable’s Black Entertainment Network banned the promo with president of the network, Robert Johnson, saying it was “inappropriate to disparage a celebrity”.
