And the star's also working on new albums by Obie Trice and D-12...

EMINEM is working on the follow-up to ‘THE EMINEM SHOW’ as well as the next projects from OBIE TRICE and D-12.

Luis Resto, the songwriter with whom Eminem and Jeff Bass shared an Oscar for ‘Lose Yourself’, has revealed that when Em is in Detroit “(he) and I work together every day.”

He said: “A lot of time we’re writing for all three projects. You go in and you’re jamming, doing music, and it gets spread here and there. Some stuff goes to Em, some to Obie and some to other artists. We sit down and write and we parcel it out.”

“Marshall takes home CDs and he listens to them, some things intrigue him, some things not as much – you just keep backlogging the ideas and see what comes of it,” Resto told Billboard.

Trice’s debut ‘Cheers’ is due out in September, while a release date for D-12‘s album is yet to be confirmed. Both acts are signed to Eminem‘s Shady Records label.

An Interscope spokesperson said that Eminem‘s album will not come out until 2004.
