Eminem reveals chainsaw artwork for new album ‘Shady XV’

The cover art takes inspiration from the rapper's trademark chainsaw and hockey mask get-up

Eminem is set to mark the 15th anniversary of his very own Shady Records with a new compilation album next month, with its artwork now unveiled by Slim Shady himself.

‘Shady XV’ is out on November 24, with its cover art featuring Eminem’s signature hockey mask and chainsaw – originally inspired by ‘Friday the 13th’ horror movie character Jason.

The album will be a two-disc affair, featuring the best of Shady Records’ back-catalogue plus new material from Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf.

You can watch Eminem reveal the album’s artwork in the Instagram video below.

This summer saw the rapper banned from playing a show at Hyde Park due to his “offensive” and “unsuitable” lyrics.

Back to basics! Here's the cover for #SHADYXV out 11/24.
