Emmy The Great to release second album ‘Virtue’ in June

'Virtue' details singer's relationship breakdown

Emmy The Great will release her second album, ‘Virtue’, on June 13.

The follow-up to her 2009 debut was produced by Gareth Jones, who has previously worked with the likes of These New Puritans and Grizzly Bear.

The album takes influence from the singer’s personal strife following a split from a previously-atheist lover, who apparently left her to dedicate himself to the church.

Fittingly, Emmy The Great has also confirmed details of three shows at London‘s St Pancras Church, set for June 8, 9 and 10.
