The young crooner holds off 'No Doubt' from the top...

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS has scored a chart double in the new Top 40 today (Sunday, February 10). The singer has held on to the top spot in the singles chart with ‘Hero’, while his album ‘Escape’ climbed from last week’s Number Two to this week’s Number One.

NO DOUBT have had a return to form with their new single ‘Hey Baby’, which entered the singles chart at Number Two. Also in the Top Ten, there were new entries for Alien Ant Farm with ‘Movies’ at Number Five, and Jakatta’s ‘So Lonely’ which entered at Number Eight.

Meanwhile, Pink slipped one place to Number Three with ‘Get The Party Started’, Puretone’s ‘Addicted To Bass’ fell one spot to Number Four and A1 fell from Number Three to Number Seven with ‘Caught In The Middle’. Britney is still in the Top Ten after three weeks with ‘Overprotected’ at Number Nine down from Number Four last week. Ja Rule ft Ashanti is a non-mover with ‘Always On Time’ at Number Six.


The only other new entries on this week’s Top 40 are Elbow at Number 19 with ‘Asleep In The Back’/’Coming Second’, and ‘Let’s Stay Home’ by Joe at Number 29.

It’s also a quiet week for albums, with only one new entry in the Top Ten – ‘Legacy – The Greatest Hits Collection’ from Boyz To Men. Also in the Top Ten this week, The Hives’ ‘Your New Favourite Band’ moves up to Number Seven and Nickelback are at Number Eight with ‘Silver Side Up’.
