Enter Shikari play energetic show at Download Festival

St Albans band admit to bizarre masturbation incident during set

Enter Shikari played an energetic set at the Download Festival tonight (June 8).

The band a gave a frenzied set that saw them engaging in odd banter with the busy crowd.

As he introducing song ‘No Sssweat’ singer Rou Reynolds urged the crowd to shout “E.A Sports“, before revealing some strange personal information about guitarist Rory Clewlow.

Rory once got caught wanking by his gran,” declared the singer. “To make it worse, he was in her rocking chair at the time and watching CITV.”

The band also name-checked NME before playing new single ‘Anything Can Happen In The Next Half An Hour’.

Reynolds introduced the song by declaring: “Get ready for ‘the worst song ever written by any band ever’, according to this week’s NME!”

The band then played an extended version of ‘Sorry You’re Not A Winner’ leaving Reynolds to thank the punters outside the tent for enduring “crap sound and a crap view”.
