Enter Shikari reveal new song ‘The Last Garrison’ – listen

The first material from new album 'The Mindsweep' is revealed

Enter Shikari have revealed new song ‘The Last Garrison’, the first track from new album ‘The Mindsweep’.

The song was recorded at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire last spring with producer Dan Weller, who also worked on the group’s last record, 2012’s ‘A Flash Flood Of Colour’.

Speaking about the track, Rou Reynolds of the band says: “Life can often seem like a tumultuous onslaught of ups and downs; good and bad; euphoric and arduous. Our circumstances can change in a flicker of an eyelid. Sometimes it’s beneficial to take a step back from everything and appreciate the honour that we’re still alive.”

Earlier this month the band announced details of a new album ‘The Mindsweep’, which will be released on January 19, 2015.

The tracklisting for ‘The Mindsweep’ is:

‘The Appeal & The Mindsweep I’
‘The One True Colour’
‘The Last Garrison’
‘Never Let Go Of The Microscope’
‘Torn Apart’
‘The Bank Of England’
‘There’s A Price On Your Head
‘Dear Future Historians…’
‘The Appeal & The Mindsweep II’

In support of the album, Enter Shikari will also embark on a UK and European tour throughout January and February. As well as dates across the continent, the quartet will also play nine shows in the UK.
