Yep, we're not making this up...
ENTOMBED are to score and perform a new ballet at the ROYAL OPERA HOUSE in SWEDEN next year.
The Swedish metallers are to do a 40-minute live set of brand new material for a production called ‘Unreal Estate’, which is about surrealism in the world of dance.
The band will play in the orchestra pit while about 30 dancers perform on stage. The piece is choreographed by performance artists Carina
Reich and Bogdan Szyberb, and it was also their idea to use the heavy metal band.
The premiere will be on 15 February next year, followed by seven more shows.
According to a spokesman for the band there are also plans to perform the piece for a week at an opera house in Madrid later on, and the tracks will be recorded in the studio for release later.
