Everything Everything to judge new band competition and mentor finalists

Winners of Relentless presents 'Here To Be Heard' will play Reading Festival this year

Everything Everything have been announced as the judges for ‘Here To Be Heard’, a competition for new and emerging bands.

Returning for the third year, Relentless presents Here To Be Heard will once again showcase emerging musical talent. The competition will be judged by one band and one DJ.

Everything Everything will lead the search for the new bands. The winner of the competition will be given a slot to perform live at Reading Festival 2015.

Everything Everything will mentor the five finalists in the final stages of the competition. The mentorship experience will give each finalist the best chance of winning the festival slot and also provide an opportunity to pick up valuable advice from the Manchester four-piece who release their third album ‘Get To Heaven’ in June.

The DJ arm of Relentless presents Here To Be Heard will open in May.

Everything Everything worked with producer Stuart Price (Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys) on the follow up to 2013’s ‘Arc’. Following a recent intimate London gig, the group will now tour the UK fully during November.

The Libertines were recently announced as the third and final headliners for this year’s Reading and Leeds festival.

The band join Metallica and Mumford & Sons at the top of the bills for the events, which take place from August 28 to 30 across the two sites.
