CHRIS GALVIN, (pictured, as member of Brilliant Corners) bass player with THE EXPERIMENTAL POP BAND, died on December 22.
Chris was diagnosed with cancer in March and knew that it was terminal. He continued playing and recording as long as he could, making his last appearance with the band at London Highbury Garage on November 25. He also completed work on the EXPB‘s second album ‘Homesick’, which will be released by Bristol’s Cup Of Tea records later in the year.
As a member of BRILLIANT CORNERS in the mid 80s, Chris was a popular and well known figure on the Bristol music scene.
He was cremated on Monday, January 4 in a ceremony that saw a large turnout of friends and musicians to pay their respects.
