Faith No More performed live at Amoeba Music in San Francisco on Friday (November 29) as part of this year’s Black Friday celebrations.

The band recently revealed their new material is influenced by The Cramps, Link Wray and Siouxsie And The Banshees. Bass player Bill Gould discussed the songs which will make up their first album in 18 years. The LP, which is yet to be titled, is due for released in April 2015 and will be marked by a US tour.

Having split in 1998, Faith No More reformed in 2009 and have since toured the world extensively. Their new record will be the band’s first since 1997’s ‘Album Of The Year’. Produced by Gould, it will be released on their own imprint, Reclamation Records, and distributed by frontman Mike Patton’s label, Ipecac Recordings.
