Fall Out Boy launch ‘Irresistible’ video – watch

It features Demi Lovato, and pokes fun at NSYNC...

Fall Out Boy have launched a new video, for the Demi Lovato remix of their track ‘Irresistible’, an adapted, remix version of the opening track from their album ‘American Beauty/American Psycho’.

The video pokes fun at NSYNC and their video for ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’, which was released back in 2000. The Demi Lovato version of the track was originally released in October of last year, as part of the remix album ‘Make America Psycho Again’.

Alongside the video, the band briefly explained the concept behind it, posting on YouTube:

“What if in the NSYNC video for ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’ there was an analog to the story? Where in the same store there was a dollar bin full of toys that no one really wanted that would band together like the misfit, offbrand little outsiders they were.

“‘Irresistible’ is the video for that story, it’s about the toys no one ever wanted [to] come to life. It was directed by Wayne Isham, the director who did the original NSYNC video and features Demi Lovato and [features] special cameos by Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick.”

‘Make America Psycho Again’ featured a host of Fall Out Boy remixes, with Azealia Banks, Wiz Khalifa and Joey Badass amongst the featured artists.

They also recently recorded a cover of ‘I Wan’na Be Like You (The Monkey Song)‘ from The Jungle Book for a new Disney covers LP, as well as forming ‘Fall Out Boyz II Men’ with Boyz II Men on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where they performed ‘Motownphilly’.
