Watch Fat White Family’s dramatic, war-torn video for ‘Feet’

Featuring scenes of battle, nudity and plenty of excellent costumes

Fat White Family have shared the ambitious video for their latest single ‘Feet’ – watch the truly dramatic video below.

The London band confirmed last week that their new album ‘Serfs Up’ had been completed, with the LP now due for release on April 19. It’ll be their first release on their new label, Domino.

After previously promising plenty of drama in a teaser clip for ‘Feet’, Fat White Family have now released the song’s full video. Featuring members of the band, the five-minute clip (which was directed by C.C. Wade) is an ambitious short film which is set during an unspecified war: scenes of battle are prominent, as is a sequence where frontman Lias Saoudi stumbles forward naked in a daze.

Fat White Family have also announced two intimate London dates in support of their upcoming third album. The band will play at The Lexington on January 30 and 31, with tickets set to go on sale tomorrow (January 16) at 10am.

A press release for ‘Serfs Up’ promises that the new album will be “a lush and masterful work, lascivious and personal. Tropical, sympathetic and monumental. It invites the listener in rather than repel them through wilful abrasion.

“Fat White Family have broken previous default patterns of behaviour, and as such their third album heralds a new day dawning.”
