'Touch Me' faces a fierce battle to hang on to the top slot for more than a week...

FATBOY SLIM, FEEDER, DUSTED, EVERLAST and TEXAS all release new singles today (January 8), attempting to knock RUI DA SILVA off the Number One spot after just one week.

Fatboy Slim releases the Macy Gray-assisted single ‘Demons’, from his recent album ‘Halfway Between The Gutter And The Stars’ today via Skint, while Feeder release their new single ‘Buck Rogers’ via Echo. Texas’ bid for the top is the second from their recent ‘Greatest Hits’ compilation, and is called ‘Inner Smile’.

Elsewhere, the Faithless side-project Dusted release ‘Always Remember To Respect And Honour Your Mother – Part One’, rapper Everlast looks likely to have his biggest UK hit to date with ‘Black Jesus’ and upcoming US hip-hoppers Spooks release a new single, ‘Things I’ve Seen’.
