Fatboy Slim‘s Big Beach Boutique 4 event took place on Saturday (September 27), attracting around 20,000 ticket-holding revellers to the bash on Madeira Drive, Brighton.
The first time the DJ played a gig on Brighton beach, in 2002, 250,000 people turned up despite facilities being provided for 60,000, prompting safety concerns.
This year tickets were mainly limited to locals, and capped at 20,000.
Beardyman, Danny Tanaglia and Layo And Bushwacka also performed at the bash.
“This is my last date of the whole summer season and that’s good news for two reasons,” Fatboy Slim told BBC News before the event. “A: I’ll be very excited and celebrating and B: the show is pretty tight now. I think people are going to really enjoy it.”
