NO SLIM PICKINGS FOR COOK!

And Massive Attack get a nod for Outstanding Contribution To Music...

FATBOY SLIM’s controversial free summer party in BRIGHTON, the ‘BIG BEACH BOUTIQUE II’, was last night awarded Best Event at this year’s MUZIK MAGAZINE DANCE AWARDS.

Fatboy Slim accepted the award at a star studded ceremony held at West London’s Po Na Na Club, where guests included his wife Zoe Ball.

Malik Meer, Editor of Muzik said, “It was an incredible event, the biggest free party ever to be held in this country. After all the hysteria that surrounded it, we’re delighted the public have shown how much they loved the event by voting for it in such high numbers. The event captured the true spirit of club culture and this award sticks up a middle finger to anyone that criticised the event. We salute you, Norm!”
