‘I Love You, Honeybear’ singer is also selling energy crystals
Misty has copied West designer Cali DeWitt Thornhill’s gothic font for the ‘Life Of Padre’ merchandise, which includes hoodies, sweatshirts, hats and T-shirts. The £30 sweatshirts and £38 hoodies say ‘Life Of Padre’ on the front and ‘Juan’ and ‘Misty’ on each sleeve. The T-shirt and baseball caps are £19 each.
Misty’s new range of merchandise also includes £33 “rose quartz crystal earrings”, a reference to the singer claiming he stole some energy crystals from a juice bar in Los Angeles in March. Misty said: “You do want the energy of these crystals. 1000% guaranteed locally sourced from LA.” The merchandise is on sale via Misty’s website.
West and Thornill’s designs for ‘The Life Of Pablo’ merchandise were previously copied by US department store Forever 21, which sold a sweatshirt in the gothic front saying ‘Simon De Cyrene for the world’, a reference to the martyr who had to carry Jesus’ cross during his crucifxion.
Misty currently has three shows remaining on the tour for his ‘I Love You, Honeybear’ album, ending at Bumbershoot festival in Seattle on September 4.
