Feeder return with tour after four-year hiatus

Band will preview ninth album on lengthy run of dates

Feeder are to return from a four-year hiatus with a 15-date tour in September.

The duo of singer/guitarist Grant Nicholas and bassist Taka Hirose last released an album in 2012 with ‘Generation Freakshow’.

Having returned at Isle Of Wight Festival in June, the pair and live drummer Karl Brazil will preview new material on the tour.

Nicholas said: “We’re really looking forward to getting out there on the road again and feel reborn after our break. Isle Of Wight Festival reminded us how good it is to be back playing together, and the loyalty of our fans is truly immense. We’re back, and really excited to let people hear these new songs.”

The tour marks 20 years since Feeder’s debut mini-album ‘Swim’ in 1996. They’ve had 25 Top 40 singles since, including ‘Buck Rogers’, ‘Just The Way I’m Feeling’ and ‘Just A Day’.

Since the break, Nicholas has released solo albums ‘Yorktown Heights’ and ‘Black Clouds’, while Hirose formed Muddy Apes with Feeder live guitarist Dean Tidey and singer Inoran from Luna Sea.
