The band warm up for the Carling Weekend with a special comeback show...
FEEDER are planning to make their live return at a ‘secret’ gig, NME.COM has learned.
The band have not played live since the suicide of drummer Jon Lee earlier this year, instead opting to return to the studio and work on a new album.
The group have been working with ex-[url=]Skunk Anansie drummer Mark Richardson, who they have been friendly with since before Lee’s death.
The sessions are being co-produced by Gil Norton and singer Grant Nicholas.
Their live return was scheduled to take place as the headline band on the second stage at this year’s Carling Weekend festivals in Reading and Leeds over the August Bank Holiday. Now, an e-mail sent to fans reveals that a smaller, warm-up show is likely to be announced in the coming weeks, just before their Reading show on August 23. The date and venue is currently unconfirmed.
