Feist announces first UK show in 3 years

Singer to play London Palladium in October

Feist has announced a one-off UK show, at the London Palladium, in October. It marks the first UK live appearance for the singer since 2008.

The show will tie in with the release of her new album, ‘Metals’, the follow-up to the multi award-winning 2007 LP, ‘The Reminder’.

The album has been recorded in California’s picturesque Big Sur area, as has been co-produced by Chilly Gonzales, Mocky and Valgeir Sigurðsson.

The Canadian singer, and occasional member of Broken Social Scene, has kept a relatively low profile since her huge hit ‘1,2,3,4’ appeared on an advert for Apple.

One of her few recent forays into the public eye was with a guest spot on Sesame Street.

But now she’s back promoting the new album with a series of short videos on her official website, as well as the aforementioned tour.

The tour begins in Europe, with the only UK date in London, set for October 17, before moving on to the United States and then Canada.

Tickets for the show at the London Palladium went on sale today, (July 5) at 10am. They can be purchased here.
