OXFAM are looking for 2,200 volunteer stewards to work at this year’s summer festivals.

The charity is searching for people 18 years old or over to work at Glastonbury (June 22-27), WOMAD (July 22-25) and the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals (August 26-29).

During each festival you will be required to work three eight-hour shifts – and after paying a deposit of £115 and attending a short training session – you will gain free entry to the event, camp in a separate area and be given free meal tickets.

Past Oxfam steward Steve Jenner said: “Being an Oxfam steward is the most enjoyable way to experience a festival. You get in for free, and come away knowing that you’ve been an essential part of the event, and it’s all been for an excellent cause.”
